Tate's 2nd birthday

We had so much fun with our little guy on his birthday, I just hope he had as much fun as we did! He is growing up so quickly, he wanted swords, guns and cars for this birthday . Where last birthday Elmo and Cookie monster were cool, I can't believe he is already over Sesame Street, I was hooked on that for years!

Elle's Blessing Day

Well there has been a lot going on at the Teerlink household... Our trip to Hawaii, then the cabin, Tate's Birthday, and last but not least Elle's Blessing. Halloween weekend 08"

This Halloween was so much fun... Tate was a SCARY shark, Elle was a sweet little pea in a pod, my mom was a psycho sourceress, Tommy our nephew was batman, and Whitney our neice was a princess. When Tate finally understood that he was going to get candy, he was all for it! At nursery the leaders asked everyone what they were going to be for Halloween and when they came around to Tate he told them "Jesus". Well, as you can see he wasn't jesus that would be just wrong???

We're baack

No we didn't go anywhere out of town per say but I think our minds have been somewhere else lately... not that blogs aren't our #1 priority but having two kiddos is kinda crazy. Anyway, here's some pics of our little ones!

Baby Elle

We are absolutely delighted to share with everyone our baby girl. The delivery couldn't have gone better with a quick 4-5 pushes. I have to tell ya having a V-back was much easier than having a C-section, especially the recovery. Anyway, we feel so blessed that we have this healthy baby girl home at last. It is such a crazy, beautiful thing to have two kids... I have been so lucky to have my mom and Ben at my side to help me out. Tate is doing awesome with with her and always wants to "hold it" or "touch it".

Tater Falls

I'm really not trying to follow a theme here, but unfortunately this is my latest update, and yes it does have to do with Tate's bodily functions. I truly do not know what the deal is but he thinks that it is such a magic trick to be able to go pee and watch it. The bazaar thing is that is is able to do this so called magic trick whenever he desires, which as you could imagine is no picnic for me. As soon as is diaper is off he is pushing as hard as he can to pee and then he laugh hysterically! Do girls do this too, or is this just a weird guy thing? Any suggestions?

"This Poop Is Bananas"

I think Gwen Stefani said it best in her song "This sh** is bananas b-a-n-a-n-a-s" However I don't think she was talking about her son Kingstons poop... In this case, I am. I was taking a shower with Tate and all of the sudden out of nowhere what do I see but a giant log of poop! I'm talking about grown up size here. So I run to get kleenex to wipe his little bum and pick the little turd up and it just keeps slipping out of my hands. Never the less I got it all cleaned up but for those of you out there that have had similar situations please do tell. And for those soon to be moms dealing with all the poop, it doesn't just entail poopy diapers; I hate to break it to you. I honestly think, the cuter they are the more disgusting and smelly their poop is.

I don't mean to gross you all out but this could be perhaps the cutest boy you just might ever see...

Honstly I think it's more me than Ben that is doing this. You see, as many of you can relate this is my only form of communication to the "outside world". I'm afraid to admit that I have been spying on all of you bloggers for months now and have just now had the courage to put our lives on display for all of you to spy... I guess it's only fair right?
Here's a quick update as to what we have been up to. First, we got a boxer named Lola who is quite the little charmer if you ask me. Then we had our son Tate in 2006 and honestly have been busy (in a good way) ever since. Now we are in the process of having our second baby cooking, getting all ready to meet the fam. We are having a girl in Sept. but I don't really know how to do those little count down thingies so I'll just let you know when she decides to show her pretty little face. We already have a name picked out but I don't think I trust to disclose that info just yet. As soon as the nursery is all beautified I will post some pics, we're in the process right now. But here is a slideshow that is kindof fun and was super easy to do, let us know what you think!
